Kahoona's AI engine analyzes visitor behavior on your website and predicts what each user is likely to do next — whether they're likely to purchase, what categories they're interested in, their price sensitivity, and more. These predictions are delivered as audience memberships and attributes directly into your Monetate platform, ready to use for personalization campaigns, A/B testing, and product recommendations.
The integration is server-to-server by default: Kahoona's backend writes audience data into Monetate, Monetate stores it with the visitor's identity, and the next time the visitor returns Monetate recognizes them and applies the matching experience. No additional development is required on your website beyond having the standard Monetate tag installed.
Once the integration is active, your team can use Kahoona segments just like any other targeting condition in Monetate:
The specific segments available on your account are custom to your business and determined in collaboration with your Kahoona CSM. Common examples include kahoona_high_intent, kahoona_deal_seeker, and kahoona_category_affinity_outdoor.
Kahoona collects behavioral signals from your website visitors and runs them through predictive models on our servers. The resulting audience memberships are written into Monetate via Monetate's Data API, where they become available for targeting on the visitor's next visit (and on subsequent visits, for the duration of the configured retention period).
